Ok, I’m good to go. Come on Tuesday lets get it on. Sorry for not writing for a while but it has been busy around the club. Kinnick completed his 6 day stay. No problems. The limo picked up his mom and returned both to their home. Went directly to the Pugs home and picked them up for a 3 day stay. Can’t say it was boring.
Breaking news –
My current wife has left. Yep. Took her to the airport on Monday. She said she was headed to Denver – only had a one way ticket so she’s not coming home soon. Threw out some excuse that she was going to tend to her aunt who had knee replacement surgery recently. Decided to have a good ole fashioned party Friday night but have already had to cancel. Seems she has alerted neighbors and friends to keep an eye on me in her absence. A guy can’t get a break.
I should clarify that wifey truly did go to Denver to help her aunt. I will be caravanning with daughter #1 on Oct. 9th to relocate her to Denver temporarily. At which time I will retrieve my current wife and return her home.
Spoiled Dogs Sitting and Limo Service -
The recently completed 3 day stay is over. The pugnacious pugs were in fine form. During their waking moments, they were either barking (Max barked primarily to get the attention of his girlfriend next door), growling during tug of war and tag, or sitting on my lap intent upon insuring my glasses were opaque from their licks. During their sleeping moments, they were glued to my body like Velcro. A sleeping 18 pound pug has a weight factor of 5 or equal to about 90 lbs. Impossible to move them or myself. Barney the elder, got an upset stomach and vomited a few times. Poor baby! He had drool hanging from his lip. This pug would not pause long enough for me to wipe his face. Urgh!
During my bachelorhood, I am tending to the pugs each day (feeding and short-term sitting). Daughter #2 has long days since it is the end of the month. You know being a Grandpa and retired is harder work than when I wasn’t either.
Had a coupon for Special Roast so changed from the French Roast. Don’t know if it was a good change or not. I feel a little hyper. Maybe I will get used to it. Well, off to the gym and 4 hours on the treadmill. Not really, but probably got your attention. Have a great Tuesday. Ta!
